The Future of Movie Theaters
The article “The Future of Movie Theaters” talks about how movie theaters are changing after the pandemic and with more people using streaming services. Even though more people are going back to theaters, it’s still not as many as before 2019. These days, people who go to the movies often have more money and are willing to pay for better seats, food, and special formats like IMAX. Streaming has changed how people watch movies, but theaters can still do well by offering fun, unique experiences. The industry is expected to grow if theaters keep improving and attracting people in new ways..
Music Industry Consumption Trends
The project analyzes data from ChartMasters' daily-updated list of the top 100 best-selling music artists of all time, based on combined sales across five categories: LPs, Physical Singles, Digital Singles, Studio Albums, and Streams. The data was reorganized into multiple visualizations, including vertical and horizontal bar charts showing total sales across all categories, and treemaps comparing LP and Studio Album sales specifically—two styles chosen due to space limitations. These visual tools aim to help media producers and music sellers better understand consumer trends in music consumption and identify which formats are most influential in artist success.
